As is common with all companies, we collect certain information from your interactions with our business and our website. We do this in order to best serve our customers and to function as a business. This page details our policy regarding that information.
In short, we are a small, family owned company. We value both your privacy and ours. We keep your information safe and private, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to process your requests and to provide the services that you and other customers seek from us. If you ever have a concern about how we are managing your personal data or your privacy, please contact us as described below.

For email and phone inquiries, we store any information that you provide, which can include but is not limited to your name, email address and phone number and any questions that you ask us or other details that you provide.
We collect and keep this information so that we can fulfill your request. We also may use the information in order to present offers to you that you may find useful in the future, and we may use it for business planning.
We do not rent, loan or sell your information to third parties. We do, however, rely on certain third party service providers, and we provide them with the information needed to enable us to service your requests. This is described in more detail below.
When you place an order with us, we keep track of your name, billing and shipping address, phone number, email address, what you ordered, your IP address and any other information that comes to us with your order. We use this information to process your order. We also use it for business planning, such as when deciding how much of various types of poultry to order in the future. Unless you have specifically requested that we not, we may contact you from time to time to present offers or information that we think may be of use to you. We also use the information you provide in order to make improvements to or add services to our website and our business.
When you fill out a form on our website, such as to request a catalog or visit our form, we gather and keep all information that you supply, such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number and time and date of your request.
If you ask to be placed on our email mailing list, we keep the information you supply, such as your name and email address, and we also supply this information to our third party email list management provider as described below.

When you access our website, our web server log files keep a record of what pages on our website you visited, the time and date, and the type of web browser you were using.
What About Sensitive Information?
Sensitive information such as credit card numbers or debit card numbers are never directly stored on our website. Instead, we use PCI-compliant third party service providers to manage and maintain that information.
What Information We Share
In the process of servicing your requests and running our business, we provide information to several types of third party companies. These include:
- Shipping Services — (Obviously) we provide your name, phone number and shipping address to the companies or organizations that we rely on to ship your orders.
- Email Services — We use two main types of email services. One is for maintaining our email subscriber lists, such as for email newsletters. We use a second service for delivery of transactional emails, such as the email you receive that tells you we’ve received and are processing your order. The information you supply, such as your name and email address are used to to deliver email to you and, in some cases, to customize that email. We also keep track of things like certain interests you have communicated to us or how we originally came in contact with you. We use information like this to make our emails to you more relevant and useful. Our third party service provider for transactional emails also uses beacons within the email to help us know whether the emails we sent you were delivered or not and whether they were opened. This helps us better understand how to communicate with you.
- Databases and CRM Software — We use third party software to keep track of your contact information and other information that you supply so that we can follow up with you or give you timely and appropriate offers or useful information. If at any time you prefer that we not contact (aside from transactional emails), please let us know.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep the information that you supply indefinitely unless you contact us to request that we delete your information.
Because we are shipping live poultry and are subject to various limitations related to that, our customers are located exclusively or almost exclusively within the continental United States. We do not sell or ship birds to Hawaii, Cuba, Mexico, Guam or other continents.
